JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a polished, organized, and service-minded Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of Culture A Day Spa in Frisco, Texas. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment, leads by example, supports team accountability, and helps ensure every guest experience is seamless, elevated, and memorable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Scheduling and Policies
- Help implement, follow, and reinforce Culture’s policies, procedures, standards, and guest experience expectations.
- Open and/or close the spa at the appropriate times while following established opening, closing, safety, and operational guidelines.
- Support efficient booking and scheduling with a focus on maximizing appointments, optimizing service flow, and protecting the guest experience.
Communication
- Provide excellent phone etiquette and warm, polished communication with guests and team members.
- Anticipate, address, and professionally overcome guest questions, concerns, or objections.
- Communicate appointment changes, cancellations, and schedule updates to service providers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Check work email, phone messages, and internal communications consistently and respond with appropriate urgency.
Spa Services and Operations
- Maintain strong knowledge of Culture’s services, pricing, retail products, special promotions, amenities, and team member skill sets.
- Assist with inventory needs, including pricing, stocking, weekly inventory tracking, and requesting or placing orders for retail and back-of-house supplies.
- Explain retail products with confidence and make thoughtful product recommendations to guests.
- Receive payments, maintain accurate records, answer phones, book and confirm appointments, and support guest check-in and check-out.
- Occasionally assist with recruiting, pre-screening, and secondary interviews as directed by the Spa Manager or Ownership.
- Participate in regular meetings with the Spa Manager and/or Ownership to support communication, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Ensure the spa remains clean, polished, organized, and guest-ready, and that equipment is functional and properly maintained.
- Support the front desk, locker rooms, relaxation lounges, laundry flow, and shared guest spaces with strong organization and time management.
- Gather guest feedback regarding service quality and guest experience to help Culture continue improving performance and consistency.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work Saturdays, Sundays, weekdays, holidays, and 8- to 10-hour shifts as business needs require.
- Minimum of two years of management experience, preferably within a day spa, luxury hospitality, wellness, salon, or service-based environment.
- Associate degree or greater strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, guest service, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities with composure.
- Comfortable supporting team accountability, front desk operations, retail education, scheduling, inventory, and guest experience standards.
- Polished, professional appearance and a leadership presence aligned with Culture’s luxury spa guidelines.
